No charges have been filed in a fatal traffic accident Saturday that claimed the life of a former Homewood man.
Homewood police said a pedestrian was walking south-southeast across 183rd Street near Gottschalk Avenue shortly before 1 p.m. when he was struck by an eastbound car. The identity of the driver was not released.
