A pedestrian who was struck by a car on 183rd Street in Homewood died late Saturday, Dec. 12, according to a family member.
Michael Wexler, 52, of Homewood was struck by a car shortly before 1 p.m. near the intersection of 183rd Street and Gottschalk Avenue. He was pronounced dead at 9:03 p.m. at Christ Memorial Hospital, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Funeral arrangements are being made with Ryan Tews Funeral Home in Homewood.
