With the help of the Junior Friends of the Library, patrons who have fines of $1 can get the fine waived by bringing in a canned good for the Food for Fines Drive to benefit the needy at Respond Now, a helping agency in Chicago Heights.
The Food for Fines Drive continues through Friday, Nov 20.
