Homewood Farmers Market summer season ends with look to the future

It’s the great pumpkin sale at St. Paul Community Church, Dixie Highway and Olive Rd. in Homewood. Members, from left, Landen Sesol, Logan Sesol and Dakota Jones help out with pumpkins large and small.

The pumpkin sale is part of the church’s outreach. The pumpkins are shipped from an Indian reservation in New Mexico and profits from the sale will be split between the Indian tribe and St. Paul. The benefit also includes decorated pumpkins and food. Artwork is on sale in the church.

Pumpkins will be for sale through Halloween from 1 to 6 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
