The Flossmoor Bachelors ‘N’ Bachelorettes Modern Square Dance Club is sponsoring a new square dance course for beginners, according to a news release from the organization.

The eight-week session will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursdays at First Presbyterian Church, 17929 Gottschalk Ave. in Homewood beginning Sept. 24.  

No partner is required. Singles and couples are welcome. No experience necessary, and all ages are welcome. Organizers suggest participants dress in casual attire. 

Chuck Witt will be the caller and instructor. The cost is $40.
