Pumbaa has spent most of his life at South Suburban Humane Society as their current longest resident, but don’t let that deter you.
In his time at the shelter, he has completed an obedience class at Paw Palace of Lynwood and has had tons of love and exercise from his team of volunteer supporters. He plays well with other dogs and is respectful of children. He knows the commands sit, down, stay and heel, and he will happily engage in outdoor play. Squeaky toys are his favorite.
Last week, his supporters held a fundraiser to give him a vacation from the shelter at the beautiful Paw Palace for one month. We have raised the money and he made his move on Monday. We are working hard this month to get him adopted, since a return to the shelter can be detrimental for this amazing dog who has proven time and again that he deserves a loving family of his own.
