Amtrak conductor thankful for Homewood’s ‘massive love’ after being shot
In May 2017 Amtrak conductor Michael Case was shot at a Naperville train station. A Homewood resident, Case was shot in the abdomen and has endured a months-long rehabilitation. He wrote to the H-F Chronicle to express his gratitude for the neighbors who are helping him recover.
