Residence damaged by gunshot in Homewood
A residence was damaged late at night on Wednesday, May 1, when someone apparently shot at it, Homewood police said. Around 11 p.m., Homewood police officers responded to a report of gunshots being fired in the 2800 block of Chayes Park Drive.

Flossmoor School Board welcomes new members
The Flossmoor School Board swore in two newly elected members and one incumbent member on Monday. The candidates ran uncontested for three four-year terms in the April 2 election.
