Park district gets funding for Homewood Estates Park

The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District has been awarded a $292,700 grant for work at Homewood Estates Park. What was the Billiards Room at the Marie Irwin Center, 18120 Highland Ave. in Homewood, will soon be a conference room. The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District is converting the little-used space.
