District 233 prepares $56.3 million budget for H-F High

Flossmoor seeking proposals for commercial development
Flossmoor officials have extended the deadline to submit commercial development proposals for vacant property in the village’s southwest corner. The village is looking to develop just under 29 acres (17 parcels) of the 36 acres it owns in the former tax increment financing district (TIF) near Meijer.
Driver killed following early morning Flossmoor Road crash
A Flossmoor man was killed after his car crashed into a utility box and tree in the early morning hours on Aug. 18. The accident took place at 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Flossmoor Road, according to a police report.
