H-F park board approves new equipment for club

The Homewood-Flossmoor Racquet & Fitness Center will be getting five pieces of new equipment. At its board meeting Tuesday, Sept. 17, the board agreed to replace two of its oldest elliptical machines and an old recumbent exerciser.

District 153 adopts 2020 budget for Homewood schools

Despite an increase in state funding, Homewood School District 153 school board approved a $23.7 million budget for 2020 that carries a deficit. Reflections Yoga AS Oct 1 – Oct 31 2019

On Friday evening, protesters held a rally on Dixie Highway to proclaim their support for the Black Lives Matter movement. On Saturday, students organized a rally and march at Millennium Park. We’ll have stories Sunday on both events. In the meantime, here are a few photos.
