Top music students at H-F selected for honor society

Homewood-Flossmoor High School recognized 24 students whose outstanding achievements that earned them admission into the Tri-M Music Honor Society of Illinois. These students were selected for their musicianship, scholarship, character, leadership and service. Homewood honors veterans with new banners downtown

Homewood held a dedication ceremony at the Veterans Memorial in the 18100 block of Harwood Avenue on May 11 to mark the display of 27 new banners honoring local people for their military service. H-F grad, Cowboys receiver Flournoy gives back with camp

There are different ways to make 10.  That was Ryan Flournoy’s message to young football players at the Homewood-Flossmoor/Flournoy football camp May 23 at the school’s stadium.  His journey to becoming a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys wasn’t direct.
