Top music students at H-F selected for honor society

Homewood-Flossmoor High School recognized 24 students whose outstanding achievements that earned them admission into the Tri-M Music Honor Society of Illinois.

These students were selected for their musicianship, scholarship, character, leadership and service. Students must maintain an A average in their music classes and be actively enrolled in an H-F music ensemble.

H-F has a chapter in the National Association for Music Education, which sponsors Tri-M, the national honor society for student musicians. Tri-M stands for modern music masters.

Newly admitted members are Nia Allen, Kellia Anthony, Nathaniel Appelt, Isabelle Asche, Violet Bivens, Rocco Bonanotte, Malia Britton, Natalie Castagna, Dylan Denmark, Sawyer Horcher, Faith Jones, Megan Jones, Madeline McGathe, Marcus McGhee.

Charrann Moore, Kamryn Nelson, Lily Norder, Rachel Nugin, Eleanor O’Shea, Kendra Richardson, Reagan Seye, Abdul Wahab Sokoya, Sarai Wingard, Olivia Yeates.
