Homewood-Flossmoor High School junior Bryce Heard summed up the boys basketball team’s season.  “We were ring chasing all year,” Heard said. Jermaine Butler of Homewood, a member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater wrestling team, is one of six Warhawks who earned All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors Feb. 17 by finishing the top two of his respective weight class at the 2024 WIAC Championship in Platteville. Jocelyn Williams is reckless. The Homewood-Flossmoor senior wrestler admittedly “throws her body around” on the mat. The result, so far, is three concussions, a torn meniscus, ankle ligament issues and a sprained shoulder joint. The concussions sometimes cause headaches. H-F sees six sign to continue athletics in college
