A Hazel Crest teen was arrested late Saturday after allegedly robbing the 7-Eleven store at 3154 183rd St. in Homewood. Veterans saluted at two programs in Homewood

School children paid special tribute to the nation’s veterans on Friday in celebration of Veterans Day. Vets had breakfast at the invitation of Homewood’s Churchill School students who sang and performed for them.
