Flossmoor board hears plea for safe pedestrian route to Montessori

Two new members join Homewood Library board

Two residents stepped forward to fill vacant seats on the Homewood Public Library Board of Trustees. Tom Nowak and Catherine Uecker were selected from a list of candidates who applied for the two spots. They were sworn in as trustees at the Nov. 15 meeting. 

Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service is Wednesday

The faith communities of the South Suburbs will gather at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22, for the annual Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service.  This year the program will be at Infant Jesus of Prague Church,  Flossmoor Road at Douglas Avenue in downtown Flossmoor.  The Viking Choir will provide the vocal music.

H-F grad begins AmeriCorps service in Texas
