Youth robotics group hosts regional competition Saturday

The robotics competition is free and open to the public. It takes place from 9 a.m. to noon at Marian Catholic High School, 700 Ashland Ave., Chicago Heights. It’s the first time that HF Robotics has sponsored a regional competition.

Arrest warrant issued for suspect in shooting of railway guard

Harvey police announced on Thursday that an arrest warrant for first-degree murder has been issued for a suspect in the shooting death on Saturday, Nov. 26, of a railway security guard. Area law enforcement agencies are searching for Rashad Williams, 24, of East Hazel Crest.
