Flossmoor School District 161 administrators have been working with Paige Bus Enterprises on improving the quality of service since renewing the company’s contract in January, and say they are making progress.
Flossmoor board approves street resurfacing program
The Flossmoor Village Board has approved a contract for the Fiscal Year 2020 Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) street resurfacing program. Public Works Director John Brunke said the 2020 program includes resurfacing a total of 1.55 miles of street, spot curb repairs, sidewalk replacement and ADA improvements.

With Flossmoor Fest only a few weeks away, residents can look forward to a full day of music, games and entertainment on Sept. 7. The fest has been a tradition for 20 years; the first took place in 1999, and it has continued almost every year since.
Flossmoor seeking proposals for commercial development
Flossmoor officials have extended the deadline to submit commercial development proposals for vacant property in the village’s southwest corner. The village is looking to develop just under 29 acres (17 parcels) of the 36 acres it owns in the former tax increment financing district (TIF) near Meijer.
Flossmoor receives financial reporting award for 41 straight years
