The Service Hour. Teens aged 10 to 18 are invited to The Attic in the Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave., from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. for an opportunity to help out in the community. Registration is required.

D&D One-Shot. A Dungeons and Dragons one-shot adventure, where participants will embark on a quest full of magic and mystery from 6 to 8 p.m. at Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave. Open to seasoned adventurers or first-timers. A Dungeon Master will guide the game and snacks will be provided. Registration is required for each session and limited to 10 participants per session.

Self-Defense for Seniors. A self-defense workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. at Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, for seniors with Lindsey Daehnke from Strictly Self Defense. Registration required.
