The Forever Lexi Foundation is hosting the fifth annual Legacy of Light Butterfly Release on July 27 to honor the memory of Alexis Wilson, who was a victim of police violence in 2021.
The event will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. in Izaak Walton Preserve, 1100 Ridge Road in Homewood.
