Animal Encounters: Reptiles. From 11 a.m. to noon at Irons Oaks Environmental Learning Center, 20000 Western Ave., visitors will have an opportunity to get up close and personal with reptiles big and small from Dave DiNaso’s Traveling World of Reptiles. This is a per person program. Each attendee must register. The fee is $7 for H-F Park District residents and $9 for non-residents. Click here to register.

Flossmoor Sculpture Tour. The tour will be a chance to learn about art in Leavitt Park, including the new installation, “Ten Thousand Ripples/Emerging Buddhas.” The tour will start at 6 p.m. at Richard Hunt’s “Uplifted” at the corner of Leavitt Avenue and Park Drive.
