Butterfly Release in Honor of Alexis Wilson. The late Alexis Wilson’s family and friends will host the annual butterfly release in her honor starting at 5 p.m. in Irwin Park, 1800 block of Ridge Road in Homewood. Wilson was killed on July 27, 2021, by a Dolton police officer.
