Highlights:

Rising Readers. Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, will host story time from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in Rauch Reading Room for ages newborn to 6 years old with stories, songs, bubbles and more. Register here.

Makerspace Days. Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave., invites teens to visit The Attic from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. to make earrings, sew a squishy or create something completely new in the Makerspace. There will be a focused activity for anyone looking for a little inspiration, but you can come up with your own project, too.

Appliqué Workshop. Homewood Public Library card holders age 18 and up are invited to an appliqué workshop from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Makery, 17917 Dixie Highway. Take something old and make it new. Bring an item you’re willing to cut up (like an old shirt or jeans) and something you’d like to decorate (like a shirt with a stain you want to cover up). Stitches and Shenanigans. Bring your fiber arts projects to the meeting room in Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway from 6 to 8 p.m.

Make It Take It Tuesday. Come to the FORT in Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, from 6 to 7 p.m. every month to learn a new craft you can make out of everyday supplies. Make the craft at the library, or take it home as a grab and go kit. 

Homewood Stories Spring Sprung Show. Five storytellers will perform at Flossmoor Community Church Community House, 847 Hutchison Road, Flossmoor, including Paul Engelhardt, Karen Torme Olson, Casey Coughlin, Dawn Haney and Steve Coombs, host. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. BYOFAB (Bring your own Food and Beverages). Admission is $15 cash at the door. No credit cards.

Lassen’s Tuesday Trivia. Test your knowledge from 8 to 11 p.m. at 2131 W. 183rd St. Doors open at 7 p.m.
