Homewood Lead Service Line Public Hearing. Village staff will deliver a brief presentation at 7 p.m. in village hall, 2020 Chestnut Road, on the village’s loan application to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, which seeks funding for lead service line replacements. Senior Bagels & Bingo. Meet in the Helen Wilson Meeting Room in Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave., from 10 to 11:30 a.m. to enjoy bagels, bingo and good company. Sponsored by an AgeOptions Senior grant, so participation is limited to seniors only.
Rising Readers. Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, will host story time from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in Rauch Reading Room for ages newborn to 6 years old with stories, songs, bubbles and more. Register here.
Makerspace Days. Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave., invites teens to visit The Attic from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. to make earrings, sew a squishy or create something completely new in the Makerspace. There will be a focused activity for anyone looking for a little inspiration, but you can come up with your own project, too.
Bingo for Teens. Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, will host bingo for teens in the FORT upstairs from 6 to 7 p.m. There will be prizes for winners.
Evening Book Discussion: Brooklyn. Join the discussion about “Brooklyn” by Coim Toibin from 7 to 8 p.m. in the conference room of Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave. Light refreshments served. Pre-registration is not required. All are welcome.
Audition for Cabaret. The Drama Group will hold its second and last audition from 7 to 9 p.m. for parts in its production of “Cabaret.” The session will be held at the Drama Group Studio, 330 W. 202nd St. in Chicago Heights.
