The award is given to a teacher or staff member who has shown outstanding commitment to the district. The school board honored staff members at Willow, Churchill and Hart Schools at the November meeting.
Dunne was selected to receive this honor by her peers in the District Office. The 30 staff members work in the business office, operations and maintenance, technology, student support services and the curriculum office.
“Jodi has the skill set, the knowledge, certainly the institutional knowledge, to be a business manager herself. There’s no question when somebody in a department say payroll, HR, budgeting, any of those questions come up and the primary person’s not there, we know we can always go to Jodi,” Superintendent Scott McAlister said.
During her 25-year career in the district, Dunne has worked for seven business managers and three superintendents.
