Open House at H-F Racquet & Fitness Club. H-F Park District will host an open house from noon to 4 p.m. at the club, 2920 W. 183rd St. in Homewood, to give visitors a chance to see new fitness equipment that recently was installed.

DIY Instruments. Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave., will host an opportunity to  make homemade musical instruments and play along to songs with simple melodies. Children under 9 years old must have an adult caregiver stay with them at the program. Register here.
