Illinois Sen. Napoleon Harris III, D-Harvey, is hosting a two-day grant writing workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 15 and 16 at Thornton Township Hall, 333 E. 162nd St., in South Holland.
“Access to funding can open doors for residents in our community,” Harris said. “Whether you’re in education, public service or the nonprofit sector, this training is a valuable opportunity to build skills that make a difference.”
This workshop is ideal for city, county and state agency staff, as well as professionals in health care, K-12 education, colleges, universities and nonprofit organizations.
Registration is required in advance. Space is limited so early registration is strongly encouraged.
