Illinois Senator Napoleon Harris, D-Harvey, announced grants to local libraries and schools as part of the Illinois Secretary of State’s Public Library Per Capita and Equalization Aid Grants, Security and Construction Grants and School Library Grants programs.
Awards went to Homewood School District 153, $1,551; Homewood-Flossmoor High School District 233, $2,351; Flossmoor Public Library, $16,497; and Homewood Public Library, $34,184.
