Homewood-Flossmoor School District 233 Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, in the Viking Room, South Building, 999 Kedzie Ave. The agenda is available here.

Highlights: The board will consider memorandums of understanding with the Homewood-Flossmoor Educational Organization (HFEO) and Homewood-Flossmoor Support Staff Association (HFSSA).

Homewood-Flossmoor Park District Board of Commissioners will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, in the Goldberg Administration Building, 3301 Flossmoor Road. The agenda will be available here.

Flossmoor Green Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, in village hall, 2800 Flossmoor Road. The agenda is available here.

Skin Cancer Awareness and Treatments. Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, will host Advocate Aurora Health representatives, who will talk about skin cancer, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. The presentation will cover causes and treatments and is open to all ages.

H-F Library Open House. The library staff at Homewood-Flossmoor High School, 999 Kedzie Ave.,is hosting a Community Open House from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, that will include a book fair with Bookie’s Book Shop. Kids of all ages can read stories to the Zoobot animals, hear from storyteller Emily Hooper Lansana, and enjoy craft sessions. Enter through Door 12 off the north parking lot for this free event.

Book Discussion on Sociopath: A Memoir. Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave., will host a discussion of “Sociopath: A Memoir” by Patric Gagne from 7 to 8 p.m. Registration is not required. Light refreshments will be served.

Homewood Stories. The show will feature stories told by a marketer, a former tech executive, a cycling enthusiast and a former financier at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at the Flossmoor Community Church Community House. Tickets are $15 cash at the door. No credit cards.
