Moana Party. Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave., will host an opportunity to hang out with Disney film character Moana from 2 to 3:30 p.m. She will visit the library and spend the day singing, playing games, reading and taking pictures with guests. Themed outfits are encouraged but not required.
Jazz at the Gallery. An afternoon of jazz, art, and community from 1 to 5 p.m. at Union Street Gallery, 1527 Otto Blvd, Chicago Heights. Featured band will be Groove Beast at this fundraiser for the gallery. Tickets are available here.
