Office: Flossmoor School District 161 Board of Education
Education: University of Illinois Chicago School of Law; CIPP/US, Georgia State University
Employment history: Specializing in charitable trust and nonprofit oversight, currently serving as an assistant attorney general. Past experience includes roles as U.S. Privacy Counsel, with expertise in privacy laws, regulatory oversight and compliance monitoring. Skilled in process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and driving ethical excellence.

Previous service: Leadership roles in the Heather Hill PTO and Civic Association; volunteered as a coach for HF Soccer Club; organized events to support Heather Hill Elementary School, focusing on fostering engagement and improved educational resources.
Most important issues: My priorities center on academic excellence, school safety, and community engagement. The district’s current underperformance in math and low reading proficiency levels are concerning, and I am committed to fostering policies that equip students with the foundational skills they need to succeed.
Ensuring the safety of our children is equally critical. Heather Hill Elementary, for example, is the only school in the district without a one-way traffic system during pick-up and drop-off. Addressing such issues will remain a focus.
Finally, parents deserve transparency and support, particularly regarding standards-based grading. Families often feel their questions go unanswered, leaving them unable to fully support their children’s academic success. By promoting collaboration between families, educators, and the school board, I aim to create a stronger, safer, and more successful learning environment for all students.
Top goals: My top goals will be to enhance academic outcomes, promote school safety, support efforts to address bullying, and advocate for stronger family and community engagement.
I will enhance academic achievement by supporting evidence-based curricula and targeted interventions to improve math and reading proficiency.
I will promote school safety by advocating for a one-way traffic system at Heather Hill Elementary.
Additionally, I will support efforts to address bullying within the district by advocating for stronger anti-bullying policies and fostering an inclusive and safe environment for all students.
Finally, I will advocate for transparent communication on standards-based grading to empower parents to better support their children’s academic success. Together, we can build a thriving, safe, and inclusive district where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
