Most important issues: Addressing challenges related to student attendance and social media well-being. Improving academic achievement and enhancing support for faculty, teachers, and staff so they are providing students with the tools they need to excel. In addition, we must continue to emphasize the importance of mental health, and promoting policies and curriculum that ensure equitable access and education for all students and diverse learners.
We must also continue to highlight the importance of keeping our school safe by improving safety measures, campus monitoring, and emergency preparedness. It is essential to continue fostering and improving communication between the board, parents, teachers and the community encouraging collaboration and support for our students.
Top goals: My motto is “Empowering Every Student, Every Day,” our students deserve the best education possible. One of my top goals would be to help create college pathways through Career & Technical Education (CTE). CTE pathways help students pursue their interests and connect high school courses to college courses that prepare students for careers, and industry certifications prior to high school graduation.
I will also prioritize enhancing academic programs, incorporating innovative teaching methods, expanding access to advanced courses, extracurricular activities, and further enhancing the fine and performing arts programs, promoting creativity, cultural awareness, and self-expression.
I am committed to supporting faculty, administration and fellow board members to continue to prepare our students for future success. I am dedicated to improving education, fostering a safe and supportive environment, responsible management of district resources, and ensuring our school remains a place where every student excels.
