Glenwood police report that a 31-year-old man was killed early Sunday, Feb. 23, outside the Chug-A-Lug Pub & Grill at 18409 S. Halsted St.
Police said the man’s identity has not been released pending notification of kin.

According to a preliminary investigation, the shooting appears to have occurred during an encounter between two groups, police said.
The alleged shooter left the scene in a vehicle, but no further details were immediately available.
Glenwood police and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force are conducting the investigation.
