U.S. Rep. Robin Kelly (D-Ill) outlined impacts the Trump Administration’s federal cuts and funding freezes are having in the 2nd Congressional District she represents in Washington, including Homewood and Flossmoor.
At the Feb. 20 news conference Kelly was joined by speakers Hazel Crest Mayor Vernard Alsberry; John Peller, president and CEO of AIDS Foundation of Chicago; Veronica Clarke, president and CEO of TCA Health; Michael Boyd, president and CEO of Kankakee Community College; Debra Shore, former EPA Region 5 administrator; and Becky Gremley, a district constituent and caregiver for her autistic son.
