Two decades was not enough poker. The annual Texas Hold ’em Tournament benefitting the Cancer Support Center will be back for its 21st time on Saturday, Feb. 8, at Balagio Ristorante, 17500 Dixie Highway in Homewood.
Registration is $175 in advance or $200 at the door. The fee covers tournament entry, food and open bar. Spectators are also welcome and can register for $50. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and play begins at 5:30 p.m.
The center will award more than $5,000 in cash and prizes to the final eight players.
The fundraiser gives 100% of its proceeds to the Cancer Support Center to enable the agency to continue providing free services to cancer patients and those who support them.
Over the past two-plus decades, the Cancer Support Center Community Board has raised more than $780,000 for the center through Texas Hold ’em and other events.
