Flossmoor Community Church is hosting a “Do Good Weekend” Jan. 18, 19 and 20, as part of its efforts to mark the 10th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service event in Flossmoor.
The church, at 2218 Hutchison Road, is hosting a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18. Click here to reserve a time.
Paper products, such as napkins, plates, toilet paper and tissues, and boxes of pasta are being collected for the Center for Food Equity in Medicine at the church at these times:
- Saturday, Jan. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Sunday, Jan. 19, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
- Monday, Jan. 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Center for Food Equity in Medicine is committed to raising awareness and meeting the nutritional needs for people living with chronic health conditions.
