Trail Mix Presents Palmyra. Palmyra will perform from 7 to 9:45 p.m. at Rabid Brewing, 17759 Bretz Drive in Homewood. “Palmyra explores the fusion of traditional folk string instruments, lush harmony and earnest songwriting.” Tickets are available here.
Metra Electric Line track construction. The Electric Line will be partially shut down on two weekends in December, Dec. 7-8 and Dec. 14-15, due to extensive construction associated with the South Shore Line’s expansion plans. Train service will terminate and originate from the 18th Street Station, with buses replacing trains between Millennium and 18th, and the line will use a Sunday schedule both Saturday and Sunday on those weekend days.
