Trick or Treat hosted by the Village of Homewood. Four village locations will be handing out full-sized candy bars to trick or treaters from 3 to 5 p.m. Visit village hall, 2020 Chestnut Road, the police and fire departments at 17950 Dixie Highway and the Homewood Science Center, 18022 Dixie Highway.

Trick or Treat in the community. Trick or treat hours in Homewood and Flossmoor will be 3 to 7 p.m.

Family Fright Fest. Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, will host a night of Halloween fun for families from 4 to 7 p.m. There will be activities, games and storytelling with Adventures in Reading Inc.

Haunted Homewood Winners. Homewood officials announced the winner’s Tuesday of the Halloween home decorating contest, which had 27 entries, double the number from last year.
