Haunted Homewood Winners. Homewood officials announced the winner’s Tuesday of the Halloween home decorating contest, which had 27 entries, double the number from last year.

South of Chi Halloween Party. Thornton Distilling, 400 Margaret St. in Thornton, will host the improv group’s Halloween party starting at 7 p.m. “Come enjoy some drinks, laughs, and candy as we celebrate Halloween. Costumes encouraged.”
