The Flossmoor Police Department is appealing to anyone who might have information about a fatal hit-and-run Thursday night, Feb. 8, or Friday morning, Feb. 9, to report what they know.
Aaliyah A. Leonard, 23, of Matteson, was killed in the incident. Flossmoor police and fire units found her body in the 19600 block of Governors Highway about 9:35 a.m. Friday.
In an email notice Sunday, police asked anyone who observed someone walking on Governors Highway on Thursday night into Friday morning to call Flossmoor detectives at 708-957-4500.
