The Homewood-Flossmoor High School music department will have 20 students participating in the Illinois Music Education Association’s District 1 Senior Ensembles Nov. 18 at Elmhurst College.
These students were selected through an audition process competing against students from nine other music districts representing Chicago and the South Suburbs.
Selected students are:
Senior Chorus: Christopher Albert, bass; De’Angelo Barlow, tenor; Charisma Boler, alto; Stella Hoyt, soprano; Eleanor Jenkins, soprano; Kendall Laven, alto; Gabriel McKinney, tenor; Jazmin Rhodes, soprano; Jordyn Richardson, alto; Casey Siengo, alto; Ave Van Til, alto; Amy Ward, soprano.
Senior Band: Kent Flores, French horn; Annie Ford, trumpet; Aydenn Harris, trumpet.
Jazz Band: Aydenn Harris, trumpet; Joseph Robertson II, drum set; Ahlier Velazquez, baritone saxophone.
Senior Orchestra: Lorenzo Martinez, trombone; Ruby Mikulski, viola; Eric Nickerson, cello.
