PSC hosting Halloween Family Fun Fest on Oct. 31

Prairie State College will host its annual free Halloween Family Fun Fest on Oct. 31 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the newly renovated atrium on the main campus at 202 S. Halsted in Chicago Heights.

“We are excited to provide a safe environment for our youngest community members to celebrate and enjoy some Halloween fun,” said PSC President Michael Anthony.

Children up to age 12 are invited to attend, accompanied by a guardian. Attendees can play games, win prizes, listen to live music and enjoy plenty of treats. All are encouraged to show off their costumes on a Halloween runway and take pictures with Parker, the PSC mascot.

PSC is collecting child-friendly items for the party, including candy and prize donations, such as sealed store-bought candy, snack-size chips, packaged taffy apples, fruit snacks, stickers. and glowsticks. All donations must be safe for young children. No homemade items will be accepted due to safety regulations.
