The College Board’s national recognition program has named 20 Homewood-Flossmoor High School students National African American Recognition Award and National Hispanic Recognition Award honorees.
The Big Future College Board national recognition programs name students who as sophomores and juniors took Advanced Placement, PSAT/NMSQT or PSAT 10 exams, have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and identify as African American or Black, and Hispanic and Latino, and attend a high school in a small town or rural area.
H-F honorees in the National African American Recognition Award program are Amani Johnson, Ariel Miller, Asha Garrett, Brasen Asiedu, Chayse Selvie, Christopher Albert, Emma Leak, Inioluwa Odumosu, Jasmen Walker, Jazmin Rhodes, Madelyn Levy, Madison Leathers, Maleko Myers, Monee Potts, Sari Zinnerman, Undra Pillows, Victoria Plummer and Xavier White.
H-F honorees in the National Hispanic Recognition Award program are Angela Ceron and Nestor Gomez.
