On Sept. 5, the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District will again welcome residents and guests to the Goldberg Administration Center, 3301 Flossmoor Road in Flossmoor.
The facility has been closed to the public since the pandemic shutdown. The center will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Tuesday, Sept. 5. Patrons that stop in between Sept. 5 and Sept. 8 to register for a program or rent a facility will have the opportunity to win prizes, including a $50 credit for park district programming.
“We’ve seen a steady increase in registration for our programs over the past few months,” said Homewood-Flossmoor Park District Executive Director Doug Boehm. “We felt the time was right to grow our services to help meet the community need.”
The Goldberg Administration Center will join other park district facilities, including the Irwin Community Center and the H-F Racquet & Fitness Club, as a destination for park district resources and services.
The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District is a three-time National Gold Medal Award winner for excellence in park and recreation management.
