The National Honor Society at Homewood-Flossmoor High School held an induction ceremony May 15 for 130 new members. Guest speaker was Marc Fishman, a 2000 graduate.
To become a member of NHS, students must demonstrate exemplary work in the four pillars, scholarship, leadership, character and service. Students are eligible sophomore and junior year for the induction that occurs every May. They complete service from June through April.
