A man suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a shooting incident shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday, April 10, according to Homewood police.
Officers found the victim, 40, in the vicinity of Hillview Road and Poplar Avenue. He was transported to the hospital.
A second man, 35, was taken into custody as part of the investigation, police said.
Police are still investigating but believe the incident is isolated, and there is no further threat to the community.
