Chicago’s Federal Reserve Bank president is speaker for Economic Forecast Breakfast

Charles L. Evans, president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago will be the guest speaker for the 2022 Economic Forecast Breakfast on Friday, April 1.

Evans will discuss the economy in the South Suburbs as well as what is currently happening in the country and how it affects the area.

The program at Olympia Fields Country Club is hosted by the Prairie State College Foundation. Evans’ presentation will be part of a morning program that opens with breakfast at 7 a.m. followed by his presentation at 8:15 a.m. He will accept questions after his speech.

Individual tickets are $25 with sponsoring levels of $100, $150, $300 and $1,500. Proceeds will help PSC fund tuition for students attending summer school, student book expenses and to underwrite scholarships. Make reservations online or by emailing [email protected].

This will be Evans’s third time addressing the PSC Economic Forecast Breakfast. He has been president of the Chicago bank since 2007. Before taking that position, he was director of research and senior vice president supervising the bank’s research on monetary policy, banking, financial markets and regional economic conditions.
