The wife of murder victim Robert James Jr. has been charged in his death, according to Homewood police.
Rachel James, 43, of Manhattan, was taken into custody on Tuesday, May 25, and was charged with first degree murder, police said.
A bond hearing is scheduled for Wednesday at Markham Courthouse.
Robert James, 48, was found dead of gunshot wounds on May 8 in an office building in the 900 block of 175th Street.
