PSC Foundation breakfast April 7 features Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago president

The Prairie State College Foundation’s Economic Forecast Breakfast on Wednesday, April 7, will feature Charles L. Evans, president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

This year’s one-hour event, that helps raise funds for PSC scholarships, will begin at 8 a.m. and be conducted via Zoom. Individual tickets are $25. A $15 GrubHub breakfast voucher will be provided to each attendee. 

Evans will provide his outlook on the U.S. economy. As CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Evans serves on the Federal Open Market Committee, the Federal Reserve System’s monetary policymaking body. 

He oversees approximately 1,400 employees in Chicago and Detroit who conduct economic research, supervise financial institutions and provide payment services to commercial banks and the U.S. government.
