If at the end of the school day your child wants some play time, the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District's “After School Club” could be the solution.
This program of outdoor activities for children 6 to 12 years old meets from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Fridays at the Irwin Community Center, 18120 Highland Ave. in Homewood.
Staff will involve children in playing sports, games and social activities in a safe environment and away from computer screens. While practicing social distancing, the program will give children time for social interaction with others. . . .
